Halibut You'll have a great time fishing for halibut and rockfish in some of America's most beautiful waterways, Montague Island, Prince William Sound, Resurrection Bay Alaska. Sport-caught halibut are typically in the 20-40 pound weight range. However, fish over 100 pounds are frequently caught. The current Alaska State Record for a sport-caught halibut is 450 pounds.

Salmon Adult Coho generally weigh 8 to 12 pounds and are 24 to 30 inches long, although some larger than 30 pounds have been landed. They are described as spectacular fighters and as the most acrobatic of the Pacific salmon.
