One of my favorite things to do, is to take the train from Anchorage to Seward. The scenery is different than the highway. Now we have a special train that comes to Seward once in the winter. So you get to enjoy the winter wonderland of Alaska without anyone having to drive, everyone gets to enjoy the ride and views. It is a weekend in early December. Not only do you get to enjoy this special train ride, you can spend time in Seward when there are fewer visitors. Many activities are planned for that weekend including a craft show, special shopping sprees, functions at the Sealife Center and tours on Resurrection Bay.
