customer reviews:

A beautifully appointed room-… just the cozy sanctuary we needed after yesterday’s long hike! Thanks so much for your advice about bears, we did see one at a distance, but none up close and personal, so I guess it worked!

What a paradise indeed! How luxurious to have a lovely table, dishware, and stained glass to breakfast with and a kitchenette stocked with a great selection of goodies. Loved the Alaska videos and your great hospitality and travel advice. Can’t wait to come again!

Youv’e done a fantastic job with the décor. The happy yellows and deep reds are a great combination. I also love the various stained-glass light fixtures etc, they make the room and your house all the more quaint. Finally, your choice of music is great. It was very pleasant to open the door at night or in the morning and hear classical music coming from the living room. Nice touch!

Thank you for the feeling of home away from home. My stay couldn’t have been more relaxing or comfortable—I really appreciated your surroundings/atmosphere. It shows so clearly that you do the B&B from your heart. It’s been great to cross your path, and those friends who make it to Seward in the future will certainly know to come stay with you! Best of everything.

Thanks for the wonderful stay, delicious food, and great wildlife insight. We had a wonderful time!

Great location for the July 4 races and walking the town. Lovely room, good breakfasts and conversations

customer reviews: "Just wanted to drop you a line to say what a comfortable room you have at your place. It was a special touch having the fruit and cookie basket in the room when I checked in. Viewing Resurrection Bay from the balcony is quite a sight, I also liked that it is within walking distance of the Sea Life Center and many of the quality restaurants of Seward. Being that I am a fisherman, it is always good to have the docks and fishing charters nearby. I am looking forward to spending more time in Seward and at your place. Thanks What's the best part about your B&B? Is it the crispy clean feeling? The new beds? The privacy? The quiet and spacious accommodations? The kitchen stocked with dishes and pans so we could enjoy the fresh salmon we grilled on the front deck overlooking Resurrection Bay? The friendly and welcoming hosts? All of the above combined to make my stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend this B&B! We are very lucky to have discovered your place. I am writing this from the deck on a perfect Alaskan day-breezy& sunny with a view of Mt. Alice in front of me & Mt. Marathon behind me. There's a mist over the bay-all is well. You are both blessed to live in such a beautiful spot. We have loved our little "home away from home". The welcome basket, cookies, flower book, and Alaskan photographs were especially appreciated.
