The Alaska SeaLife Center offers an unrivaled up-close and personal experience with Gulf of Alaska marine wildlife. Halibut You'll have a great time fishing for halibut and rockfish in some of America's most beautiful waterways, Montague Island, Prince William Sound, Resurrection Bay Alaska. Sport-caught halibut are typically in the 20-40 pound weight range. However, fish over 100 pounds are frequently caught. The current Alaska State Record for a sport-caught halibut is 450 pounds.

Salmon Adult Coho generally weigh 8 to 12 pounds and are 24 to 30 inches long, although some larger than 30 pounds have been landed.
